LYNN— Police are investigating an incident at 33 Elm St. in which a 44 year-old man died after falling from the house’s second story window.
Lynn Police and firefighters arrived on the scene around 7 p.m. Sunday. First responders initially reported that the man suffered from severe head trauma, shortly before he was pronounced dead on the scene.
Lt. Michael Kmiec of the Lynn Police Department said in an interview Monday afternoon that there was a roof ledge outside the window, off of which the man could have fallen.
At this time, police believe the cause of death was accidental, but the incident is still under investigation.
