Peabody 67, Fenwick 49
The Peabody boys basketball team (2-1) defeated the Crusaders of Bishop Fenwick on Thursday 67-49. Anthony Forte put in a well-rounded performance with 24 points, six steals, and three assists, while John Lucas scored 16 points. SWIMMING AND DIVING

Malden 77, Classical 50
Despite the Rams’ swimming and diving team losing to Malden on Thursday, there were lots of improvements according to head coach Denise Silva. In the 200 free, both Amanda Hughes and Jayda Abreu improved their times, and in the 100 free, Jakub Polski and Marcus Ryan each cut their times as well. The 100 backstroke had Gianah Cowan swimming 10 seconds faster, and Gianna Fortes continued to improve in the 50 free. To top it all off, Classical’s first Division 1 state qualifier is senior captain Ava Anderson in women’s diving.
