You know what I’ve been thinking? Rather, you know what I’ve been thinking since Friday? Lynn English’s Warren Keel Jr. is as good as they come on the basketball court. The guard, alongside Tyrese Melo Garcia, led the Bulldogs to victory against Beverly in enemy-territory on Friday night. After the game, and in humble fashion, Keel Jr. said he just wanted to help his team win. Clearly, he did just that, recording 38 points and eight assists in front of a hostile Panthers crowd. Whether it was creating space in the mid-range and burying a jumper, or finishing at the rim against larger opponents, the sophomore did it all. English head coach Alvin Abreu called him a special talent after the game, and he’s certainly been playing like it. The Bulldogs make scoring 80 points per game look easy, all while doing it in highlight-reel fashion with Keel Jr. leading the way. Warren, good week.
