Both the boys and girls Lynn Tech track teams defeated Northeast Metro on Wednesday, giving each team a 3-0 record deep into the season. In the girls 2-mile, Gisele Rodriguez placed first, while Gerelis DeJesus finished first in the girls 300-meter. DeJesus and her sister, Emily, took first and second in high hurdles as well. For the boys, Alan Barrios took first place in both the 2 and one mile.
Saugus’ track team took part in an NEC meet in Danvers on Wednesday. The boys team lost to both Danvers and Winthrop, while the girls defeated Winthrop after losing to Danvers. In the girls high jump, Destiny Okoye impressed with a 4′ 08″, while Angie Lopez did well in shot put with a 20′ 07″. On the boys side, Kaeleb Mathieu ran a 7.2 in the 50y, while Shane Bourque ran the 300m in 43.4.

Lynnfield 9, North Reading 3
Lynnfield head coach Jon Gardner picked up his 100th win on Wednesday against North Reading, and to make it even better, Drew Damiani got his 100th point after dishing out an assist to his brother Dylan. Lynnfield moved to 7-0-1 with the victory and remained undefeated in its conference.
St. Mary’s 3, Archbishop Williams 1
The streak continues. St. Mary’s boys hockey team defeated Archbishop Williams at Connery Rink on Wednesday, giving the Spartans a 9-0-1 record. Maddox Jacobson, Aidan Fitzpatrick, and Cam McGonagle were the Spartans’ goal-scorers.

The St. Mary’s girls hockey team kept its stellar season going, defeating Andover 4-0 with a versatile offensive attack and strong goaltending. Maggie Pierce (2), Jenn
