With the Bulldogs impressing through the fall and winter seasons, the Lynn English athletics program has also made five new changes to its coaching staff.
With Stephen Smith becoming a vice principal, Liana Angelis has taken over in girls tennis. As for boys soccer, long-time coach Kerry King has decided not to return, and will be replaced by Vladrim Xhemalji.
“He’s [King] still going to be doing tennis, which is good, but he’s decided to let his assistant take over the reins,” Lynn English athletic director Dick Newton said.
In the world of volleyball, things will look different as next season approaches. On the girls’ side, Angela Masucci replaces Mike Haddad who resigned. And for the boys – in the program’s debut season – Alejandro Lazo will lead the Bulldogs on the hardwood.
Lastly, Josh Zall has been brought in for indoor and outdoor track, replacing Harold Samuelson who retired.
“We’re very happy with who we’ve selected and look forward to the upcoming seasons,” Newton said.
