LYNN β Salem State President John D. Keenan appeared this week on an episode of βThe American Dream,β a show hosted by Attorney James Carrigan, to discuss what’s new at the university.
The show, which airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., and Saturdays at 7 a.m. on Comcast Channel 3 and Verizon Channel 38, is βdesigned to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at how public and private policy is developed,β according to Carrigan.
The conversation between Keenan and Carrigan, which was filmed today, ran just under half an hour. It began with a discussion of the current goings on at the public university, and the mayoral forum it hosted for the candidates running to replace Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll as mayor of Salem on Tuesday evening.
“We had five candidates last night at Salem State at our Berry Institute of Politics,” Keenan said. “We’ve done a lot of work, including hosting public forums like we did [Tuesday] night.”
“Lot of great things going on at Salem State,” he added.
The episode with Keenan’s appearance has already been uploaded on the Lynn Community Television website, and will air on television channels later this week.
