A report at 9:31 p.m. Wednesday from a caller at Southwyck Condominium, 80 Foster St., Apt. #503 who said “squatters” in Unit 207 threatened his girlfriend.

Assistance
A woman walked into the police station at 9:43 a.m. Wednesday to report that her boyfriend, who lives in Worcester, is in possession of two of her firearms and won’t return them. She told police she last saw them at her boyfriend’s residence and recently obtained a restraining order against him, which has yet to be served. The woman was referred to Worcester police for assistance.
Complaint
A caller at 7:30 a.m. Thursday reported a white school bus driving erratically with children in it at Walnut and Spring Streets. Dispatched officers reported no vehicle matching the description was found in a check of the area.
Trespassed
A man was trespassed from McDonald’s, 738 Broadway, at 3:29 p.m. Wednesday for making unwanted advances to a female employee.
Thefts
A report of a past shoplifting at 2:47 p.m. Wednesday at Kay Jewelers, Square One Mall, 1201 Broadway. The caller reported $8,800 of merchandise was stolen in a shoplifting. Officers responded and identified Steven Balian, of Stoneham, as the suspect.
A report of shoplifting at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday at Macy’s Department Store, Square One Mall, 1201 Broadway. Loss prevention reported detaining a female shopper. Officers determined the stolen item(s) value was under $100 and the matter will be handled civilly.
A walk-in report of larceny by check at 5:03 p.m. Wednesday at 16 Jackson St. A woman told police an unknown party cashed her 401K check.
A report of a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle at 8:46 a.m. Thursday at 8 Elmer Ave. A caller told police her and her husband’s vehicles were broken into overnight.
Unwanted
A report of an unwanted party at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at Red Roof Inn, 920 Broadway. The front desk called 911 to report an unwanted guest. After speaking with all parties, police determined there was a disagreement over a reservation made through a third-party vendor and the would-be guests were leaving.
