Police log 3/22/23

LYNN

Arrests

Fernando Arias Diaz, 60, of 240 Broadway was arrested for distributing a Class B drug, trafficking in cocaine, and possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute at 11:07 a.m. Monday.

Dominic McLean, 51, of 131 Ocean St. was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle or trailer.

Eric Stuart, 55, of 103 Liberty St. was arrested for assault and battery on a police officer and assault and battery on ambulance personnel at 1:06 a.m. Tuesday.

Thefts

A report of motor vehicle theft at 11:35 a.m. Monday at 180 Alley St.

A report of larceny at 10:27 a.m. Monday at 475 Chestnut St.; at 10:32 a.m. Monday at 325 Boston St.

Missing Person

A report of a missing person at 9:49 a.m. Monday at 45 Nelson St.; at 10:05 a.m. Monday at 8 Bennett Circle.

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 11:25 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Churchill Place and Western Avenue.

PEABODY

Arrests

Joseph Oviedo Regalado, 33, of 20 Argyle St., Everett was charged with two assaults with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery on family/household member. 

Gabriel Santos, 20, of 31 Harris St. was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, attaching plates, two Peabody Police Department warrants, and two other department warrants. 

Disturbances

A report of a domestic disturbance on Monday at 12:10 a.m. at 111 Foster St. which led to the arrest of Joseph Oviedo Regalado. 

A report of a loud music complaint on Monday at 3:06 a.m. at 160 Main St. 

A report of a loud music complaint on Monday at 4:11 a.m. at Crane Brook Way. Music was turned down. 

A report of a loud music complaint on Monday at 4:37 a.m. at Crane Brook Way. Caller said the loud music was coming from the apartment above them. The party was disbanded. 

A report of a disturbance that was investigated on Monday at 11:57 a.m. at General Nutrition Center, 210G Andover St. The mall security said a customer was threatening an employee. Officer said that the customer and employee had a verbal argument and no threats were made. 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident on Monday at 7:56 a.m. at 8 Caller St. and 136 Main St. Vehicle was towed and there were no medical transports. 

Medical

A report of a medical emergency with transport to the hospital on Monday at 9:32 a.m. at Ledgewood Way. Doctor’s office called and stated that the resident was having chest pains. The resident was taken to Beverly Hospital. 

A report of an elderly female with dehydration on Monday at 10:40 a.m. at Lowell Street.

A report of a fall on Monday at 4:32 p.m. at Fulton Street. Transported to Salem Hospital.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism on Monday at 2:41 a.m. at Brothers Deli, 11 Main St. Front window was broken. 

Dispute

A report of a neighborhood dispute with peace restored on Monday at 10:25 a.m. at Lynn Street. Caller reported that her neighbor/mother in law was yelling at her. The parties involved had a verbal argument over their property line. The matter was resolved. 

Thefts

A report of a stolen motor vehicle on Monday at 1:03 p.m. at Mini of Peabody, 209 Andover St. A 2020 white Mercedes GLE350 was entered in NCIC as stolen. 

A report of shoplifting on Monday at 9:43 p.m. at Shaws Supermarket, 210S Andover St.

LYNNFIELD

Unwanted party 

A report on Monday at 4:13 a.m. of an unwanted party at 375 N Broadway, Apt. #1-204. A person was removed to a hospital.
