LYNN

Arrests

Thomas Hession was arrested for filing a false crime report at 4:56 a.m. Thursday. 

Juan Mora, 34, of 15 Jefferson St. was arrested for two counts of trafficking more than 200 grams of a Class A drug, trafficking more than 100 grams of a Class B drug, two counts of unlicensed possession of ammunition, unlawful firearm storage, carrying a firearm without a license, and firearm use in a felony.

Timothy Taylor, of 7 Rantille Ave was arrested for two counts of assault and battery and a threat to commit a crime at 11:03 a.m. Thursday.

A report of a motor vehicle hit-and-run at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday at 160 Neptune Boulevard.

SAUGUS

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 6:47 a.m. Tuesday at Broadway and Walnut Street. A 911 caller reported being in a minor crash and requested an officer for the exchange of information. The other party gave a false location to meet for the exchange. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday at Irontown Diner, 325 Main St. A caller reported a minor crash with some fluid leaking from one of the vehicles. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 1:14 p.m. Tuesday at Walnut Place, 190 – 216 Broadway. Officers requested an ambulance for evaluation of one party involved in a two vehicle crash. The party declined medical treatment. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday at Walnut Place, 190 – 216 Broadway. Both vehicles were drivable. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision with injuries at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Santander Bank, 323 Broadway. A caller reported a two-car accident with one injury. The injured party declined treatment. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday at Lincoln Avenue at Charlotte Road. a 911 caller reported being in an accident and the other party was becoming aggressive. Officers reported no accident, the female party threw rocks at the vehicle. 

Complaints

A DPW complaint at 7:58 a.m. Tuesday at Walgreens, 1228 Broadway. An officer noticed a cross walk sign broken from the ground. MassDOT was notified and responded. 

A report of an animal complaint at 8:06 a.m. Tuesday at 31 Jasper St. A 911 caller reported there are two big brown dogs in her yard. The animal control officer responded. 

Disturbances

A report of a general disturbance at 12:06 a.m. Tuesday at Wood Spring Extended Stay, 832 Broadway Apt. #332. A 911 caller reported a male and female arguing in their room who weren’t answering the phone or the door. Officers responded that there was no argument and it was just a loud conversation. 

A report of a general disturbance at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday at Alltown Convenience, 1123 Broadway. A caller reported an argument over gas not being paid for with a worker who was trying to pull the gas pump out of her vehicle. Officers reported the caller believed she had been charged for gas but the store receipt said she hadn’t. She was advised to contact her bank and file a claim. 

A report of a general disturbance at 8:09 a.m. Wednesday at Dunkin Donuts, 533 Broadway. A 911 caller reported a customer causing a disturbance over wanting a refund. Dispatched officers reported the customer departed prior to their arrival. 

Fraud

A walk-in reported identity fraud involving an unemployment claim in California at 10:41 a.m. Tuesday. 

Stolen property

A walk-in at 2:17 p.m. Tuesday reported that a package delivered by the USPS may have been stolen. 

Suspicious

A report of a suspicious person at 10:51 a.m. Tuesday at Speedway, 1252 Broadway. A 911 caller reported a male party slumped over the wheel in his parked car who was not responding. The man was checked out by EMS and had no issues. He reported being overly tired from working. 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle parked on the street at 11:24 a.m. Tuesday at 16 Biscayne Ave. The caller reported a vehicle parks on the street everyday for 15 minutes and then leaves and no one comes or goes from the vehicle. The caller called back to report the car had departed and she would notify police when it returned. 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 8:13 p.m. Tuesday at the entrance to the marsh on Ballard Street. A male driver was informed of the no trespass for the area. 

Unwanted

The manager at Wood Spring Extended Stay, 832 Broadway Apt. #332 called police at 1:54 a.m. Tuesday to report a party causing a disturbance and harassing workers. The manager asked police to remove him from the hotel and officers reported both parties leaving without incident.

Motor Vehicle Stops 

A report of a motor vehicle stop with warning issued at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday at 362 Humphrey Street; at 6:37 a.m. Wednesday at 44 Humphrey Street.

Medical

A report of a 96 year old female with a head injury after a fall at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday at Lawrence Road.

The library reported that an elderly party fell down the stairs and hit his head at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday at 61 Burrill Str. 

Scam

A report of grandparent scam calls at 3:56 p.m. Wednesday at 38 Rockland St. Reporter said she received multiple grandparent scam type calls over the last few days. 

Hazardous Condition

A report of a large piece of a motor vehicle’s exhaust laying in the road on the southbound side of Essex Street at 4:08 p.m. Wednesday at 357 Essex St. 

Noise 

A report of a small group hanging out in the playground making noise at 12:36 a.m. Thursday at Duncan Terrace and Superior Street. 

Breaking and entering 

A report of breaking and entering at 3:55 a.m. Thursday at 25 Essex St. Caller stated that someone was possible in her basement. Basement was checked and appeared secured.
