You know what I’ve been thinking? The stars sure aligned in Canton Sunday. That’s because Team North met Team South in the MIAA Boys Hockey All-Star Game. And, oh, speaking of stars, we’ve got one of our own. St. Mary’s Brady Bullock didn’t disappoint in his last game wearing the Spartans sweater (North wore whites), scoring two goals despite the 7-5 loss at the hands of South. With the opposition scoring just minutes into the game, Bullock danced his way through the attacking zone before firing a wrister into the left portion of the net. The snipe tied things 1-1, but that wasn’t all. The lefty scored his team’s second goal of the game the following period – one that ended 3-3. The high-scoring affair ended with South on top after it registered a four-goal third period. That said, it was competitive, but also fun, and Bullock got to do his thing one last time. With the news of head coach Mark Lee stepping down for the Spartans, as well as Bullock moving on to the next chapter of his life, the pair will be missed by the St. Mary’s faithful. Brady, good week.
