MARLBOROUGH – The 17-year-old wanted for shooting a 16-year-old male drive-thru employee at Wendy’s in February was captured on Wednesday.
The arrest came after a police chase that resulted in the suspect crashing a BMW on I-290 and attempting to flee on foot.
On Feb. 7 at around 5:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting at the Wendy’s located at 116 Boston St.
The employee was transferred to Mass General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the arm.
Charges against the suspect include armed assault with intent to murder and intimidation of a witness. The suspect’s name has not been released by police at this time.
