LYNN

Arrests 

Willis Taveras, 33, was arrested and charged with one count of resisting arrest, one count of assault and battery on a police officer, and one count of disorderly conduct at 10:53 p.m. Monday.

Krystal Rice, 40, of 11 Lagrange Terrace, was arrested on a warrant charge for sexual conduct for a fee at 10:49 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident at 5:17 p.m. Monday at Chestnut Street and Lander Street. 

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 6:06 p.m. Monday at 33 Bloomfield St.; at 6:54 p.m. Monday at 33 Bloomfield St.; at 7:42 a.m. Tuesday at 141 Franklin St.

A report of shoplifting at 6:21 p.m. Monday at Walgreens, 21 Joyce St.; at 8:22 a.m. Tuesday at Dollar Tree, 102 Boston St. 

Fires

A report of a fire at 6:04 p.m. Monday at Boston Street and Stetson Street; at 6:16 p.m. Monday at 106 Allerton St. 

Trespassing 

A report of trespassing at 9:23 p.m. Monday at 103 Liberty St.; at 3:39 a.m. Tuesday at 119 Lewis St. 

LYNNFIELD

Fraud

A report at 9:01 a.m. Monday of fraud at 30 Edward Ave.

A report at 10:08 a.m. Monday of identity fraud at 19 Clark Road. A male party said someone is renting cars, opening bank accounts and buying items online using his information.

PEABODY

Arrest

Derek W. Medina, 25, of 7 Scenic Road, was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol and drugs at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday at 2 Nathans Way. Police reported a vehicle into a resident’s house. 

Accidents

A report of a hit-and-run collision at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Fast Track Auto, 147 Summit St. #10. A caller reported a pole was struck by an Atlantis Tow Truck that fled the scene. 

A report of a hit-and-run collision at 4:08 p.m. Monday at 57 Castle Circle. No injuries or tows. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 11:07 a.m. Monday at 156 Lowell St. at 2 Emerson St.; at 3:51 p.m. Monday at 42 Prospect St. at 0 Essex Center Drive; at 6:58 p.m. Monday at Exit 63B, Route 128 North. 

Assault

A man reported being assaulted by another man at 10:31 a.m. Monday at 57R Walnut St. 

Disturbances

A report of a dispute between a clerk and a customer at 5:44 p.m. Monday at Wilson Square Citgo, 2 Andover St. The customer was upset the clerk did not work on her vehicle today. She was sent on her way. 

A report of a female trying to gain entry into 85 Lowell St. at 10:36 p.m. Monday. The woman was banging and yelling on the doors and windows. An officer spoke to the woman and she was sent on her way. 

Find

A woman reported property was left on her front porch at 10:40 a.m. Monday at 33 Aborn St. 

Peace

An officer was asked to preserve the peace at 4:27 p.m. Monday at 114 Margin St. The party gathered their belongings without incident. 

Thefts

A report of larceny at 8:03 a.m. Monday at Wayside Rentals and Leasing, 58R Pulaski St. The officer reported two catalytic converters were stolen over the weekend. 

A report of larceny at 8:17 p.m. Monday at 8 Walnut St. Apt. #310. A resident reported a stolen package. The officer reported two juveniles stole several packages on April 15. 

A report of fraud at 9:51 a.m. Monday at 3 Essex Green Lane; a walk-in report at 5:31 p.m. Monday at 1 Main St. #208

Threat

An employee at Brooksby Village reported receiving a threatening voicemail at 3:07 p.m. Monday. The officer listened to the voicemail and there appeared to be a miscommunication due to a language barrier. There was no threat. 

Vandal

A report of vandalism at 9:54 a.m. Monday at 16 Littles Lane #1. A resident said the neighbor was using spray paint on their own property and the paint got on her belongings. 

Wires

A caller reported a large truck took down several wires at 3:16 p.m. Monday at Summit Terrace.

A caller reported two wires down at 12:29 p.m. Monday at 2 Rawding Road. 

SAUGUS

Accidents

A walk-in at 10:29 a.m. Tuesday reported a hit-and-run collision at 16 Pearl Road. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 11:57 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Walnut and Spring streets.

Animal

A call for a struck seagull at 9:56 a.m. Monday at Mobile Mart, 368 Broadway. 

Complaint

A traffic complaint at 8:06 a.m. Tuesday at Home Depot Building Supply, 564 Broadway. A caller reported a silver Thunderbird driving 90 miles per hour and swerving between lanes. Units were advised to be on the lookout and an officer checked the area but didn’t find anything. 

Damage

A report of property damage at 10:09 a.m. Monday at 10 Felton St. A caller reported red hair dye was thrown onto his white vinyl fence. Dispatched officer reported most of the paint was washed off and was documented for insurance purposes. 

Disturbances

A report of a general disturbance at 11:13 a.m. Monday at 57 School St. Police received a call with an open line that sounds like someone arguing in the background. Dispatched officers reported speaking with a woman on the scene who said she is home alone but her mother lives in the Saugus Commons and that is where the call is coming from. Police spoke to Joseph Davella, who was having phone trouble and determined there was no disturbance. 

A report of a general disturbance at 6:11 p.m. Monday at Vintage Hair Studio, 518 Lincoln Ave. A caller reported a man and woman in the area who were acting strange. The man had come into her business and was harassing customers of hers and at other businesses. Officers spoke with the man and informed him of the panhandling laws in Saugus. He went back to Lynn for the evening. 

A report of a man being rude to staff and refusing to leave at 1:08 p.m. Tuesday at Jersey Mike’s, 741 Broadway. Officers responded and determined nothing criminal was occurring. 

A woman walked into the station at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday to report that she heard loud noises on her roof last night and found stones on the side of her home at 104 Central St. this morning. The woman said there was no damage done to her home. 

A woman called police at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday to report she was being harassed by another member of her group home at Dunkin’ Donuts, 508 Lincoln Ave. 

Hazard

A caller reported two young children around the age of 10 riding bikes in the street at 12:16 a.m. Tuesday at 240 Lincoln Ave. at 7 Bristow St. A dispatched officer checked the area and determined the report was unfounded. 

Information

A man walked into the police station at 12:41 p.m. Monday to report that he is being harassed by a female that he believes was a part of an incident that took place a year prior. The man works was going on his lunch break when a female drove up to him and got into his face about a past incident that involved him and her “possible son” on April 12. The woman told him “me and Derek will come after you,” and asked “do you like hitting girls?” The man drove off to avoid further conflict. 

Unwanted

A report of an unwanted person at 1:37 a.m. Monday at Red Roof Inn, 920 Broadway. A caller reported there was a woman on the property who is on the “do not rent” list and is refusing to leave. Officers found a ride for the woman. 

SWAMPSCOTT

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 10:23 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Ocean Avenue; at 2:37 p.m. Monday at 450 Paradise Road.

Identity theft

A caller reported she was a victim of identity theft after her credit card had been used in Georgia at 10:55 a.m. Sunday at 7 Sampson Ave.

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance after a caller stated her boyfriend was in her house with a new girlfriend at 12:14 a.m. Monday.

Well-being check

A report of a man staggering down Humphrey Street towards Marblehead in Tattered clothes at 12:05 p.m. Sunday.

Complaint

A report of loud music at 1:10 a.m. Sunday at 330 Paradise Road.
