Orvin Michael De Los Santos, 34, of 162 North St. Apt. #2, Salem, will be summonsed to court for felony breaking and entering in the nighttime, larceny from a building, and malicious destruction of property over $1200.

A report of a hit-and-run crash at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday at 24 Evans Road. A caller reported a hit-and-run and wanted to see an officer on scene. The officer spoke with a neighbor and will check the camera to if the crash was recorded. The car sustained heavy front-end damage.

A caller at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday at 28 Paleologos St. left a voicemail complaining of a neighbor’s dog always being off leash, and claimed it almost attacked someone.
A caller at 12:28 p.m. Tuesday at 127 Lake St. reported wanting to rehome her 17-year-old cat. She was put in touch with cat rescue.
Officers conducted a well-being check on animals at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at 39 Dustin St. Apt. #2. All fish and one cat appear to be in good health. All animals were fed prior to leaving the apartment.
Complaint
A walk-in at 10:03 p.m. Tuesday reported a civil issue and said they fired a contractor who was doing work at their home at 21 Dale St. They told police they thought the contractor might show up at the home and cause property damage. They were advised to call police when/if the contractor shows up.

A caller reported finding a wallet at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday at the ATM at TD Bank, 79 Lynnfield St. Salem PD was asked to contact the owner, and the wallet was placed in the lost and found.

A report of suspicious activity at CVS Pharmacy, 174 Main St. An employee asked officers to check a silver SUV with its windows smashed out. They reported seeing a man inside with a knife. Officers spoke with the two occupants, who were both eating McDonald’s, and confiscated the knife.
An employee at Boston Children’s Hospital, 10 Centennial Drive at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday reported a suspicious note was left behind by a parent. The parent left behind a court packet that they wanted included in the child’s file. The hospital does not want the paperwork. The officer took possession of the packet and will shred it.

A report of a hit-and-run crash at 7:53 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Square One Mall, 1201 Broadway. A caller reported his motor vehicle was struck by a person on a dirt bike who fled north in the southbound side of the highway sidewalk. A be on the lookout was issued to Saugus units, and an officer reported checking the area of the highway from Walnut Street to the mall. An officer spoke with the caller who said his vehicle sustained minor damage.

A report of a deer struck by a vehicle at 9:31 a.m. Tuesday at 388 Central St. The animal control officer was notified.
A call for a loose dog at 10:56 a.m. Tuesday at 22 Sweetwater St. A lab mix fawn color, white chest, white paws has been brought to the yard.
The animal control officer reported issuing a citation to Michele Dallesandro at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday at 2814 Founders Way.
Annoyed
A caller reported receiving harassing phone calls from another resident at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Laurel Gardens, 2 Rice St. #166. The caller was advised to block the number and an officer advised her of her 258E rights.
Assault
A report of assault at 6:38 p.m. Tuesday at Kelly’s Roast Beef, 595 Broadway. A man called police to report being attacked by another man in the parking lot. Dispatched officers reported both men would be issued summons.
Disturbances
A caller at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday reported being threatened by the owner of King Motor Cars, Inc., 160 Broadway after having an issue with the vehicle he was test-driving. Dispatched officers restored the peace.
A caller at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday reported a disturbance at Polcari’s Restaurant, 92 Broadway. The caller said he and his wife were standing in the doorway of the restaurant and saw two Black males threatening to stab two employees over a bill. Dispatched officers reported no issues at Polcari’s, and checked the parking lot at the nearby Kohl’s and Planet Fitness. They determined the call was unfounded.
A caller reported two men fighting at 4:57 a.m. Wednesday at Sizzle Tanning Salon, Cogliano Plaza, 302 Lincoln Ave. Dispatched officers reported going off with three men. An ambulance was requested for a psychiatric evaluation at 5:09 a.m., and officers reported at 5:27 a.m. that the incident was a verbal altercation between two brothers and the parties were separated. Peace was restored.
The property manager at Auto Zone, Sherman’s Plaza, 1160 Broadway, reported being notified of approximately 15 vans parked in the lot with people residing in them at 8:17 a.m. Wednesday. The property manager said this is an ongoing issue and the people will not leave. Dispatched officers reported the vehicles were unoccupied, and the property manager was advised they could call their own tows.
