LYNN — The Lynn Housing Authority & Neighborhood Development (LHAND), in partnership with Mayor Jared Nicholson and the City of Lynn, will hold a first-time homebuyer class on May 20-21 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the LHAND Community Room, 10 Church St.
Topics covered will include: budget and credit, mortgage application process, appraisals and home inspections, insurance, down payment assistance, and deleading. Preregistration is required at lhand.org/program/home-ownership/. The cost is $50 per individual or $75 per couple. You must attend both sessions to receive a certificate. Classes are certified by the Massachusetts Homeownership Collaborative.
