Rocco Julian Pina, 19, of 11 Gwinnett Road, Peabody, was arrested Monday on an outstanding warrant from Salem District Court for two counts of assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon.

A report at 8:13 p.m. Monday from a resident at 14 Allen Road who said a 13-14 year-old male approached her 10-year-old son with a knife and offered to give him a haircut. The caller was concerned that the juvenile had a knife and is harassing kids.

A caller reported a group of six kids looking to retrieve their stolen bikes at 4:34 p.m. Monday in the area of Jasper Street. An officer reported being advised that there maybe four kids wearing ski masks trying to steal bikes. Dispatched officers reported a group of kids chased another group of kids into Lynn.

Hazard
A caller reported a shopping cart in the middle of the road at 4:23 a.m. Monday at Floor and Decor, 180 Main St. The cart was moved out of the roadway.
Rage
A caller at 1:38 p.m. Monday reported someone in a black Kia Sorrento threw water at him on Route 1 and he is now following the vehicle through Saugus. Officers spoke to the caller in the high school parking lot and directed him to file a complaint in Boston because the incident occurred on the Tobin Bridge.
Suspicious Activity
A woman walked into the station at 3:40 p.m. Monday to report her Verifone Credit Card reader was missing. The reader was last seen on April 13, 2023. She told police she believes the device may have been thrown away.
A 911 caller reported finding large bones in her backyard at 3:53 p.m. Monday at 4 Ashford St. The medical examiner confirmed the bones were deer remains.
A caller reported the front door of her parents’ home was wide open when she went to drop off groceries while they were on vacation at 5:16 p.m. Monday at 13 Morton Ave. Dispatched officers conducted a walk-through of the home and everything seems to be in order.
A caller reported an ongoing issue with an unknown party contacting contractors to respond to the home for work “resulting in them busting down there side door on multiple occasions” at 10:28 a.m. Tuesday at 68 Clifton Ave. Officers determined nothing was missing from the home, and it was a scam with callers contacting contractors for estimates.
