LYNN 

Arrests 

Alejandro Guerrero, 27, was arrested for possession of a Class A drug and unlawful possession of ammo with no FID card at 2:12 p.m. Tuesday. 

Selvin Pelico De Leon, 42, of 33 High St. was arrested for urinating in public at 12:21 p.m. Tuesday. 

Amy LaFountaine, 42, of 2 Kingsley Ter. was arrested for possession of a Class B drug at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday. 

Walter Esteban-Niz, 36, of 92 Grant St. was arrested for marked lanes violation, operating a motor vehicle with suspended license, furnishing false information upon arrest, unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, and electronic device use while operating a motor vehicle at 9:14 a.m. Wednesday.

A report of an out-of-town 911 call at 11:36 p.m. Monday on Lothrop Street. The party was referred to another agency. 

Summons

A report of summons served/attempted at 12:58 p.m. Tuesday on Humphrey Street. 

Lost and Found

A report of found/lost property at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday on Tedesco Street. 

SAUGUS

Accidents

A report of a roll-over crash at 1:49 p.m. Tuesday at Bank of America, 1093 Broadway. Two people were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision with an unconscious man trapped inside the vehicle at 5:13 p.m. Tuesday on Route 107 Northbound. Dispatched officers reported the man woke up and did not complain of injuries. He was taken to Salem Hospital. 

Disturbances

A walk-in report of multiple juveniles on bikes in the parking lot at 3:46 p.m. Tuesday at Nick’s Place, 306 Central St. Apt. #A. A dispatched officer reported the youths were finishing up snacks and would be on their way. 

A caller reported multiple vehicles racing around the neighborhood up and down the Lynn Fells Parkway at 8:12 p.m. Tuesday at 2 Randell Road. Dispatched officers issued a verbal warning to one of the drivers for a missing front plate, and spoke to the parties inside who were advised to go elsewhere with the vehicles. 

A caller at 12:43 a.m. Wednesday reported booking a two-night stay at Red Roof Inn, 920 Broadway but being told by a hotel employee she was on the do not rent list. Officers gave the woman a courtesy ride to the Holiday Inn in Peabody. 

Hazard

A report of a large object blocking most of the right travel lane at 6:22 a.m. Wednesday on the Salem Turnpike, Southbound. Police contacted the state department of public works who moved a metal pole and a black sheet off to the side of the road.

Loss

A walk-in at 4:37 p.m. Tuesday reported losing cash stored inside the sunroof panel of his car after being involved in a minor motor vehicle accident that resulted in him being taken to the hospital. 

Unwanted

A caller at 1:36 p.m. Tuesday reported a man inside a camber near the main housing area at the Salvation Army, 209-33 Broadway, who is refusing to leave and is screaming at staff members. Dispatched officers spoke with the man and reported he would be leaving the property. 

Stops

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 7:36 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Central and Winter streets. A verbal warning was issued. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday at 34 Essex St. A verbal warning was issued to the driver for not having their headlights on. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 1:39 a.m. Wednesday at Target, 400 Lynn Fells Parkway. Officers issued a citation to the operator, and his vehicle was towed to his home at his request. 

Suspicions

A caller reported a suspicious man squatting behind the bushes on the rail trail watching children at 12:17 p.m. Tuesday at the Belmonte STEAM Academy, 29 Dow St. The man was described as white, in his 30’s, wearing a black jacket, black pants and a white hat. Officers checked the area but didn’t find anything. 

A caller reported three suspicious parties throwing bags in a dumpster at 5:17 p.m. Tuesday at Goodfellas Italian Kitchen, 240 Lincoln Ave. A dispatched officer who responded at 5:24 p.m. said they will start locking the dumpster. 

A caller reported two men appeared to be trying to drill into his home at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday at 27 Beachview Ave. Dispatched officers said the men were landscapers working on the property. 

Thefts

A report of unemployment fraud at 12:48 p.m. Tuesday at 408 Main St. 

A caller at 5:26 p.m. Tuesday reported a woman he met at a bar Monday evening stole all the contents of his room at Red Roof Inn, 920 Broadway Apt. #115. 

A walk-in at 8:24 a.m. Wednesday reported someone applied for unemployment under his name.
