PEABODY
Arrest
Kelsie Cheri Baker, 24, of South Street, Wenham was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a police officer, operating under the influence of liquor, resisting arrest and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. The arrest was made after an Uber driver reported at 1:02 a.m. Sunday his car was struck at 388 Lowell St. by a second motor vehicle that fled the area. Officers located the second vehicle on Meadowview Road.
Accident
A report at 11:43 p.m. Sunday of a motor vehicle accident at 2 Calumet St. at 3 Beckett St. The involved parties, believed to be a male and female, fled on foot toward Washington Street.
Disturbances
A report at 9:45 p.m. Sunday of loud music at 163 Lowell St. A female resident agreed to turn the music down for the evening. A report at 11:20 p.m. of a second complaint about loud music at the same location.
Motor Vehicle Complaint
A report at 11:56 p.m. Sunday of an erratic operator on Harris Street. Police could not locate.
Suspicious Activity
A report at 11:23 p.m. Sunday of a suspicious dark-colored sedan with two occupants parked outside a vacant residence near 26 Styles Drive. Police determined the passenger lived in the neighborhood and was finishing a conversation before being dropped off.
