Arrests

Kerry Smith, 30, of Stone Place was arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct at 1:14 p.m. Tuesday.

Michael Vinas, 40, of Washington Street was arrested for distribution of a Class A drug at 8:06 p.m. Tuesday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 3:27 p.m. Tuesday at 170 Union St.; at 7:47 a.m. Wednesday at Market Street and Oxford Street; at 7:57 a.m. Wednesday at 59 Elm St.; at 8:02 a.m. Wednesday at Eastern Avenue and Timson Street; at 8:08 a.m. Wednesday at Pickering Middle School, 70 Conomo Ave.; at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday at Laighton Street and Washington Street.

A report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 3:56 p.m. Tuesday at 328 Essex St. 

A report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday at Broadway and Pendexter Street; at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday at 180 Myrtle St.

Disturbances

A report of a disturbance at 12:02 p.m. Tuesday at 568 Walnut St.; at 12:03 p.m. Tuesday at 12 Edwards Court.; at 7:36 p.m. Tuesday at Walgreens, 21 Joyce St.; at 9:39 p.m. Tuesday at 76 New Park St.

Suspicious Activity 

A report of suspicious activity at 3:48 p.m. Tuesday at 244 Broadway; at 4:13 p.m. Tuesday at Porter Street.

Theft

A report of motor vehicle theft at 4:57 p.m. Tuesday at 529 Western Ave. 

A report of shoplifting at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday at Walgreens, 21 Joyce St.; at 8:14 a.m. Wednesday at 96 Adams St.

Trespassing 

A report of trespassing at 2:22 p.m. Tuesday at 27 Union St.

Vandalism

A report of motor vehicle vandalism at 11:39 a.m. Tuesday at 154 Lynnway.

PEABODY

Arrest

Richard E. Carlan, 50, of Newbury Street was arrested on a warrant issued by another department at 8:41 p.m. Tuesday at 286 Newbury St. 

Summons

Kelita K. Nazaire, 37, of Pulaski Street will be summonsed to court for assault and battery, after police responded to a report of a fight in progress at 12:52 a.m. Tuesday. 

David P. Mello, 43, of Carlton Street will be summonsed to court for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 9:29 a.m. Tuesday. 

Ricardo Javier Rugama Flores, 38, of Walnut Street will be summonsed to court for operating a motor vehicle with an expired license, operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, operating a vehicle with no inspection sticker, and attaching plates to the vehicle.

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 7:42 a.m. Tuesday at Speedway, 545 Lowell St; at 10:01 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cow Ice Cream Cafe, 86 Andover St; at 10:19 a.m. Tuesday at TJ Maxx, 300 Andover St.; at 10:36 a.m. Tuesday at Bagel World Bakery & Deli, 10 Sylvan St.; at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at Centennial Drive; at 2:27 p.m. Tuesday at 30 Andover St. at 1 Hilltop Drive; at 3:59 p.m. Tuesday at 258 Washington St.; at 5:09 p.m. Tuesday at Budget Pools, 150 Newbury St.

Animal

A report of a dog running in the parking lot at 12:21 p.m. Tuesday at CVS Pharmacy, 79 Lynnfield St. Officers brought the dog into the station and reunited it with the owner at 27 Lynnfield St. 

Assault

Mall security at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday at Northshore Mall, 210N Andover St. reported a mother and child in their office that wanted to report an assault from May 25. 

A report of an assault at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday at Lowell Crossing Enterprises Group Home, 349 Lowell St. 

Complaint

A report of fireworks at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday at Rainbow Circle. The fireworks stopped shortly after. 

Fraud

A report of identity fraud at 5:31 p.m. Tuesday at 88 Winona St. The reporting party had a Chase credit card account opened. The bank rectified the situation. 

A party reported fraudulent charges in her account at 7:27 p.m. Tuesday at TD Bank, 635 Lowell St. 

A party reported receiving two debit cards in the mail she did not apply for at 8:52 p.m. Tuesday at 9 Garden Road. 

Lost and Found

A party walked into the police station at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday to report a lost item. 

Suspicious

A report of a suspicious party in the food court at 5:08 p.m. Tuesday at 210F Andover St. 

A resident called police at 7:51 p.m. Tuesday to check on the occupied electric charging vehicle parked in front of her house at 4 Coolidge Ave. The resident called back to report the vehicle had left. 

Theft

A resident reported a pressure washer and a leaf blower were stolen from the back of his truck at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday at Preserve North Apartments, 50 Warren St. #207. 

Unwanted

A report of an unwanted guest at 8:21 p.m. Tuesday at Northshore Mall, 210N Andover St. 

SAUGUS

Accidents

A detective reported being rear-ended on the Walnut Street on-ramp at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday on Route 1. Minor damage was done to both vehicles and both were able to be driven. 

A report of a two-car accident with one person injured at 8:16 a.m. Tuesday at J. Pace and Sons, 190 Main St. Apt. #A. One party reported feeling back pain and was taken to Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. 

A report of a two-car crash at 8:47 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Main and Forest Streets. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision with possible injuries at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Guild Road. One person was taken to Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. The bench and fence outside Lincoln Brook Garden were also damaged in the crash.

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 7:54 a.m. Tuesday at 26 Winter St. 

Animals

The Animal Control Officer reported being out on a call for a loose dog at 2:51 p.m. Tuesday at 2814 Founders Way. 

A caller reported a dog barking excessively at 9:52 p.m. Tuesday at 215 Hamilton St. A dispatched officer reported the dog was brought in for the night.

Lost and Found

An officer reported finding a shattered cell phone with two IDs attached to it at 1:46 p.m. Tuesday at Dudley Street. Chelsea police were notified and tried to contact the owner of the phone but were unable to. 

Fraud

A resident walked into the police station at 5:34 p.m. Tuesday to report someone has been reaching out to his ex-girlfriend pretending to be him. 

Theft

A report of a past larceny of cell phones at 1:26 p.m. Tuesday at T-Mobile, 1201 Broadway. 

Threats

A resident walked into the police station at 8:07 p.m. Tuesday to report receiving threatening phone calls.
