A report of motor vehicle theft at 11:43 a.m. Wednesday at 35 Alley St.

A report of Larceny at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday at 7 Liberty Sq.; at 9:24 p.m. Wednesday at 59 Menlo Ave.

Trespassing

A report of trespassing at 1:28 p.m. Wednesday at 1 Kingsley Ter.; at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday at 535 Essex St.; at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at 119 Lewis St. 

Vandalism 

A report of motor vehicle vandalism at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at 30 Nelson St.

Assault

A report of an assault at 11:13 pm Wednesday on Gerry Street. Party involved was transported to hospital.

Motor Vehicle Stops

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 1:36 pm Wednesday at the corner of Lafayette and Doane Street. Verbal warning given.

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 2:35 pm Wednesday at the corner of Chestnut and Walnut Street. Verbal warning given.

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 6:28 pm Wednesday at the corner of Essex and Bassett Street. Citation given.

Unemployment Fraud

A report of unemployment fraud at 4:04 pm Wednesday on Commercial Street.

A report of unemployment fraud at 8:08 am Wednesday on Washington Street.

Accidents

A report at 10:42 a.m. Wednesday of a motor vehicle accident at 34 Clement Ave.

Disturbance.

Fraud

A report at 10:18 Wednesday of a fraud at 14 Wheatland St.

A report at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday of a hit-and-run accident at 2 Pierpont St. at 133 Main St. The suspect vehicle was described as a compact gray Toyota.

Juveniles

A report at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday of approximately 10 juveniles riding their bikes in traffic on Lowell Street. The group was warned about riding safely and not wearing helmets and sent on their way.

Larceny

A report at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday of larceny by check ($150) at Gaeta’s Shell & Virgo, 14 Newbury St.

Motor Vehicle Complaint

A report at 5:38 p.m. Wednesday of two motorcycles racing on Route 114.

Theft

A report at 10:58 a.m. Wednesday of a past shoplifting at J.C. Penney, 210J Andover St. The manager will be giving video footage to the police. $325 of Puma apparel was taken.

Threat

A report at 1:04 p.m. Wednesday of a threatening email at the Jeffrety & Susan Brudnick Center for Living, 24 Lynnfield St.

SWAMPSCOTT

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 12:54 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Blodgett Avenue.; at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at Danvers Road.

Received Property

A report of received property at 11:03 a.m. Wednesday at 281 Atlantic Ave. The caller reported a Massachusetts license plate on the ground near a bush.

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 5:22 a.m. Wednesday at 413 Paradise Road. The reporting party states a red SUV has been parked in the parking lot for a long time with cardboard covering its windows.

A report of suspicious activity at 11:08 a.m. Wednesday at 11 Mapledale Pl. Caller reported someone put a bag of trash inside her trash barrel. The caller stated the bag had something beeping inside it.
