LYNN — A working fire at 33 Ashland St. was knocked down by the Fire Department Thursday morning. According to reports, the fire extended from the second floor rear porch up to the roof.
“They were able to knock the fire down and keep it out of the house, so it was contained to the outside of the building,” Fire Chief Dan Sullivan said.
All occupants of the home got out of it safely, he said, and no injuries were sustained.
