LYNN

Arrests

Saul Lopez-Chilel, 22, of Hawthorne Street, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, unregistered motor vehicle, not having registration in possession, no inspection sticker, number plate violation, uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, operating a motor vehicle with revoked registration, and forge/misuse of RMV document at 5:43 p.m. Thursday. 

Meghan Scanlon, 31, of Elm Street, Marblehead was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle at 7:06 p.m. Thursday. 

Douglas Young, 34, of Boynton Street, Swampscott was arrested for two counts of distribution of a Class A drug, possession of more than 10 grams of fentanyl, and four counts of possession to distribute a class drug at 2:35 p.m. Thursday.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 7:32 a.m. Thursday at Boston Street and Robinson Street; at 7:47 a.m. Thursday at 410 Walnut St.; at 11:14 a.m. Thursday at 330 Lynnway; at 4:36 p.m. Thursday at 542 Eastern Ave.; at 4:39 p.m. Thursday at 77 Alley St.; at 6:22 p.m. Thursday at Hanover Street and N Common Street; at 6:14 a.m. Friday at Beacon Hill Avenue and Rock Avenue; at 7:40 a.m. Friday at 61 Elm St.

A report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 12:09 p.m. Thursday at 843 Lynnway; at 9:11 p.m. Thursday at 710 Summer St.

A report of a hit and run motor vehicle accident 1:14 p.m. Thursday at Broad Street and Washington Street.

Assaults 

A report of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 12:05 p.m. Thursday at Breed Jr. High, 90 O’Callaghan Way.; at 12:31 a.m. Friday at Parkland Avenue and Richardson Road. 

A report of assault and battery at 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Family Dollar, 200 Union St.

Disturbances 

A report of a disturbance at 8:53 a.m. Thursday at Dunkin Donuts, 116 Lewis St.; at 12:24 p.m. Thursday at 185 Lewis St.; at 2:20 p.m. Thursday at 501 Washington St.; at 3:19 p.m. Thursday at Market Basket, 40 Federal St.; at 5:11 p.m. Thursday at Lynn Shore Drive; at 6:04 p.m. Thursday at Cottage Street; at 8:09 p.m. Thursday at Family Dollar, 140 Boston St.; at 8:13 p.m. Thursday at Fleming Towing, 234 Chestnut St.; at 12:21 a.m. Friday at 9 Cheever Pl.

Hazardous 

A report of hazardous conditions at 6:18 a.m. Thursday at 507 Lynnfield St.; at 7:13 a.m. Thursday at Lebel Road and Lynnfield Street. 

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 12:40 a.m. Thursday at Surfside Road; at 8:16 p.m. Thursday at 3 Prescott Road; at 3:05 a.m. Friday at 163 Essex St. 

Thefts 

A report of motor vehicle theft at 10:15 a.m. Thursday at 180 Alley St.; at 9:32 a.m. Friday at 42 W Baltimore St.

A report of larceny at 1:14 p.m. Thursday at 15 Joyce St.; at 6:40 p.m. Thursday at 188 Washington St.

Trespassing 

A report of trespassing at 1:06 p.m. Thursday at MBTA Parking Garage, 186 Market St.; at 4:28 p.m. Thursday at 10 Tilton Pl.

PEABODY

Arrest

Wilson Nolasco-Lopez, 24, of Atkins Avenue, Lynn, was arrested Thursday on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Accident

A report at 10:27 a.m. Thursday of a motor vehicle accident at Sullivan Tire on Washington Street.

Suspicious Activity

A report at 12:58 p.m. Thursday of a suspicious gray Honda with Utah plates in the Tumelty Road neighborhood.

A report at 2:23 p.m. Thursday from a caller who said she received a phone call from a person pretending to be the Peabody police. The caller was informed that the police are not looking for her and advised to block the number.

A report at 3:15 p.m. Thursday from a caller requesting an officer check on a vehicle that has been on Franklin Street for a few weeks. Police determined the vehicle was occupied by a female who is performing an investigation in the area.

A report at 7:30 p.m. Thursday from a caller on Oak Street who said someone had placed three cases of Bud Light on the sidewalk with a sign that said “free.” She observed some neighborhood youths take the beer and run toward Winter Street. Police were unable to locate.
