Motor Vehicles

A report of a possible dump truck on fire at 8:17 am Wednesday on West Shore Drive. Location change to the corner of Lafayette and Oak Street. Investigated.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 9:59 am Wednesday on Ocean Avenue.

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 6:23 am Wednesday on the corner of Beverly Avenue and West Shore Drive. Citation given.

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 7:02 am Wednesday on the corner of Cross and Pleasant Street. Verbal warning given.

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 2:52 pm Wednesday on the corner of Humphrey Street and Pickwick Road. Verbal warning given.

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 5:11 am Wednesday on West Shore Drive. No action required.

A report of suspicious activity at 4:56 pm Wednesday on Beacon Street. Investigated.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 8:46 am Wednesday on Stevens Road. Investigated.

SWAMPSCOTT

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 12:17 p.m. Wednesday at 440 Paradise Road; at 6:09 p.m. Wednesday at Eastern Avenue.; at 7:26 p.m. Wednesday at 33 Gooseneck Lane.

Animals

A report of an injured animal at 3:49 p.m. Wednesday at 181 Stetson Ave. Caller reported a small injured bird at her residence.

A report of a sick animal at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday at 36 Beverly Road. Party reported a possibly sick raccoon in the road.

A report of dog barking at 10:16 p.m. Wednesday at 19 Hillside Ave.

Missing Person

A report of a missing person at 1:17 p.m. Wednesday at 98 Norfolk Ave. Party reported her mother, a dementia patient, had gone missing.

Trespassing

A report of trespassing at 5:51 p.m. Wednesday at 68 Mountwood Road. Caller reported she was having an issue with one of her neighbors’ dogs using her yard as a toilet. She said the neighbor was belligerent when confronted.
