Animal Control
A report at 8:04 a.m. of a dog that got off leash in the area of Franklin Street. The caller described the dog as medium black and white with a red collar. Officers could not locate the dog.
Disturbances
A report at 4:05 p.m. of an ATV riding on trail tracks near 12 Quail Rd. Officers could hear the sounds when they arrived on the scene but failed to locate the vehicle.
A report at 10:06 p.m. of a caller being threatened by an unknown male party attempting to start a fight with him at Oliveiras at 72 Walnut St. Officers reported that the men went their separate ways.
Motor Vehicle Accident
A report at 8:03 p.m. of a motor vehicle accident at Washington Street and Mason Street. Officers issued a summons for Thales Ramos, 20, of Peabody, for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Recovered Stolen Motor Vehicle
A report at 2:47 p.m. of a suspicious vehicle with Pennsylvania plates at Holiday Inn at 1 Newbury St showing a stolen registration. The vehicle was towed back to the station.
Suspicious Vehicle
A report at 5:18 p.m. of a black Mazda CX5 following a caller’s daughter around the neighborhood of Elizabeth Lane. The officer reported that the issue stemmed from a road-rage incident.
Shoplifting
A report at 8:19 p.m. of shoplifting at Lenscrafters at 210 Andover St. Two women were reported to have stolen $11,000 worth of sunglasses. Police will be following up to review surveillance footage.
Unwanted Person
A report at 12:46 a.m. of an unwanted person at the Holiday Inn at 1 Newbury. The party was asked to leave and was sitting in the bushes talking to themselves before leaving without incident.
Vandalism
A report at 2:47 p.m. of property damage from golf balls being thrown at the resident’s fence at 3 Dana Rd. Police investigated the incident.
