A caller reported hitting a coyote while riding his motorcycle at 12:00 a.m. Sunday at 219 Water St.
A resident walked into the police station at 3:00 p.m. Sunday to report her vehicle was struck in the parking lot at Square One Mall, 1201 Broadway.
A caller reported his vehicle was struck in the drive-through at 11:07 p.m. Sunday at Dunkin Donuts, 1204 Broadway.
Complaints
A report of a water main break at 7:22 a.m. Sunday in the area of Chestnut and Winter streets. Officers at 7:30 a.m. reported that Lincoln Avenue at Chestnut Street was completely flooded and beginning to pose a risk to residents’ homes. Officers reported at 7:44 a.m. Sunday that both sides of Chestnut Street were down and Lincoln Avenue was impassable because of the amount of water.
A report of a possible water main break at 8:57 a.m. Sunday at 15 Wonderland Ave. A resident reported water coming up through the street. The Department of Public Works was notified of a second possible break.
A resident walked into the station at 12:45 p.m. Sunday to report finding rice and ants in the opening of her gas tank at 20 Newhall Ave. She told police she believes the rice and ants were placed there deliberately but does not know who did it. She said she wanted the incident recorded in case of future problems.
Disturbances
A report of a large gathering of individuals at 12:23 a.m. in the area of 12 Sapphire Road. Officers reported the caller was in a verbal argument with the group, who were in the area for a graduation party.
Reports at 3:08 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. Sunday of a fight that had just broken up and a large gathering in the parking lot and at least one person driving recklessly at Warden Street Apartments, 5 Warden St. Dispatched officers reported no signs of a fight, and a small family gathering was departing the area for the evening. Peace was restored.
A report from McGarvey’s Towing at 1:01 p.m. Sunday that they were having a difficult time with a man trying to claim a vehicle that wasn’t his at 1481 Broadway. The man had left the scene by the time officers arrived, but they spoke to the registered owner who said the vehicle could be released to the man if he returned and paid the fee. The company reported that the man had returned at 3:19 p.m. Sunday and was now threatening to drive through the fence. He had departed the property by the time officers arrived and further efforts to locate him were unsuccessful.
A woman reported she was trying to buy a cell phone and was accused of attempting to steal one at 5:40 p.m. Sunday at T-Mobile, 1201 Broadway Apt. #W117. An officer spoke with the woman and she was advised to contact corporate with further issues or complaints.

A resident reported her son took her vehicle at 10 a.m. Sunday and had not returned it at 2:38 a.m. Monday at 6 Norman Road.

A report of lost property at 8:31 a.m. Friday at 141 Humphrey St. Party reported a lost sweatshirt and phone; at 5:44 p.m. Friday at 413 Paradise Road. Caller reported losing two credit cards and her driver’s license; at 9:18 a.m. Saturday at 156 Humphrey St. Party reported a lost wallet.

A report of a neighbor conflict at 5:14 p.m. Friday at 37 Gooseneck Lane. Caller reported an elderly neighbor was yelling at her children; at 12:36 a.m. Sunday at 178 Puritan Road. Caller reported her neighbor’s flood lights shining in her home; at 11:21 a.m. Sunday at 13 Sutton Place. Caller reported an ongoing neighbor dispute with the owner and resident.
Noise
A noise complaint at 7:20 a.m. Friday at 101 Forest Ave. Children were lighting off fireworks; at 9:32 p.m. Saturday at 55 Devens Road. Caller from Walker Road reported people yelling on Devens Road. Police saw kids swimming upon arrival.
Suspicious
A report of suspicious activity at 3:16 p.m. Sunday at 35 Littles Point Road. Caller reported an approximately 30-year-old male in an Audi without plates, stopping at the property to take pictures twice in one day. The caller reported the man playing music loudly and told her he was buying the property and she better get used to it.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 10:34 a.m. Friday at 100 Middlesex Ave. Caller reported hate speech on the basketball court.

Arrests
A report at 2:13 p.m. of security following a shoplifter at LifeTime Fitness at 210 Andover St. Officers arrested Dacaria Janice Dessau, 23, of Dorchester on another department’s warrant as well as three shoplifting counts.
A report at 9:14 p.m. of a possible impaired driver on Lynn Street. The car was stopped for a marked lane violation on County Street. Officers arrested Ulman Mardoqued Gomez Pojoy, 40, of Lynn for marked lanes violation, failing to signal and for operating under the influence.
Citizen Assist
A report at 12:26 p.m. of a caller’s mirror being moved in her apartment at 13 Overlook Trl., despite the door being locked from the inside.
Disturbance
A report at 12:16 a.m. of a car full of people yelling outside on Crowninshield Street. Officers found a group of juveniles dancing and sent them on their way.
Stolen Vehicles
A report at 8:11 a.m. of three vehicles – an Audi, Mercedes, and BMW – that were stolen out of the showroom of Auto Mall at 218 Andover St. overnight. Officers are investigating the incident and reported a customer’s check was also stolen.
A report at 10:22 a.m. of a vehicle stolen out of the driveway at 184 Lowell St. Officers documented the incident and instructed the reporting party to file a report.
