PEABODY
Arrest
A report at 9:42 p.m. of the operation of a motor vehicle on a suspended license on Walnut Street. Officers arrested Moacir Amorim Freitas, 49, for operating with a suspended license.
Summons
A report at 3:12 a.m. of a summons issued to Guilherme De Oliveira, 37, of Littleton, for an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle.
A report at 6:03 p.m. of a caller reporting her neighborhood had backed into her garden, possibly intentionally, at Whispering Meadows, 278 Newbury St. Officers issued a summons for Michael Desimone, 50, on charges of leaving the scene of property damage and having an unregistered motor vehicle.
Animal Control
A report at 12:08 p.m. of a citation handed out to the owners of a 3-year-old labradoodle that was claimed by an owner. Officers advised the owner to license the dog and gave a verbal warning about the dog getting loose. Officers said that if the dog got loose again it would be a $50 fine.
Disturbance
A report at 12:17 a.m. of loud music on Endicott Street. Officers advised parties to quiet down for the night.
Road Rage
A report at 12:40 p.m. of a road rage incident at Lahey Medical Center at 1 Essex Center Drive. Officers spoke to both operators about their behavior and peace was restored.
Suspicious Activity
A report at 10:33 a.m. of a man going through a caller’s and neighbor’s mailboxes in the area of Lowell Street and Forest Street. Officers spoke with the man, who explained he was dropping off business cards.
