SALEM — A woman with a Nahant address was arrested after being found in possession of 47 grams of fentanyl and 28 grams of crack cocaine Friday, according to a statement from the Police Department.
According to the statement, detectives assigned to the department’s Criminal Investigation Division were conducting a follow-up investigation around Ropes Street when they observed an unregistered BMW X1 engaging in “suspicious activity.” The statement added that detectives then stopped the vehicle and informed its owner and driver, Oona Tims, 25, that she was driving an unregistered vehicle.
She was found in possession of the fentanyl and crack cocaine after a brief investigation, according to the statement.
“The dangerous narcotics were packaged for sale at the street level,” the statement read.
