LYNN

Arrest 

Alan Cameron, 67, was arrested for stalking, assault and battery on a +60/disabled person, possession of a Class B drug, and bicycle violation at 3:16 a.m. Tuesday. 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 9:02 a.m. Monday at Boston Street and Keslar Avenue; at 5:37 p.m. Monday at Essex Street and Washington Street; at 10:55 p.m. Monday at 147 Fairmount Ave.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 2:07 p.m. Monday at Fair Oaks Avenue and Lynnfield Street; at 2:56 p.m. Monday at Summer Street and Walden Street; at 3:26 p.m. Monday 480 Lynnfield st.; at 4:47 p.m. Monday at Commercial Street and Warren Street; at 8:39 p.m. Monday at 16 Ford St.; at 8:52 p.m. Monday at 7 Liberty Sq.; at 9:51 p.m. Monday at 17 Whiting St.

Disturbances

A report of a disturbance at 12:21 a.m. Monday at Wendys, 116 Boston St.; at 7:25 p.m. Monday at 5 Lander St.; at 7:39 p.m. Monday at 5 Lander St.; at 11:17 p.m. Monday at 119 Lewis St.; at 11:18 p.m. Monday at 158 S Common St.; at 11:56 p.m. Monday at 118 Broad St. 

Hazardous 

A report of hazardous conditions at 12:42 p.m. Monday at Regina Road; at 2:38 p.m. Monday at Crescent Street and Phillips Avenue.

A report of hazardous materials at 1:35 p.m. Monday at 57 Kernwood Dr. 

Suspicious Activity 

A report of suspicious activity at 7:20 a.m. Monday at Circuit Avenue. 

Theft 

A report of motor vehicle theft at 6:04 p.m. Monday at 17 Lee Ct. 

A report of larceny at 7:49 p.m. Monday at  25 Boston St.

Trespassing 

A report of trespassing at 10:02 p.m. Monday at 7 Willow St.

SAUGUS

Accidents

A report of a two-car motor vehicle collision with airbag deployment at 8:07 a.m. Monday at the southwest Main Street ramp on Broadway. One person was taken to Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. 

A report of a hit-and-run collision at 11:07 a.m. Monday at York Ford Inc., 1481 Broadway

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 11:37 a.m. Monday at Wheelabrator Saugus, 100 Salem Turnpike. 

A walk-in report of a motor vehicle collision where the other vehicle left the scene at 1:13 p.m. Monday at 8 Hemingway Road. The reporting party said his vehicle was not damaged and he just wanted the incident documented. 

A report of a motor vehicle collision where a car struck a parked car at 11:20 p.m. Monday at Sweetser Corner, 3 Baker St. An officer determined the accident was minor and aided parties in exchanging paperwork. 

A report of a four-vehicle crash at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday at L.A. Fitness, 1450 Broadway. One person was taken to Whidden Hospital. 

Animals

A report of a coyote walking down the rail trail at 1:24 p.m. Monday at Adams Avenue and Denver Street. The animal control officer was notified and responded to the scene, but failed to locate the animal. 

A report of an injured rabbit at 10:18 p.m. Monday across from the Roby building on Main Street. A responding officer was unable to locate the animal. 

Complaint

A caller reported loud music coming from his neighbor’s house at 12:00 a.m. Monday at 12 Meadowbrook Road. The caller told police he asked the neighbor to turn the music down prior to contacting the department. Dispatched officers reported a small gathering in the area and party-goers agreed to turn down the music. 

Disturbances

A report of a male causing a disturbance at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Savers Department Store, 1160 Broadway. Officers spoke with the man and advised him of the store policy not to accept returns without a receipt. 

A report of a man harassing guests as they enter at 7:25 p.m. Monday at Red Roof Inn, 920 Broadway. Dispatched officers reported the party left the area. 

A report of screaming coming from a residence at 7:49 p.m. Monday at 9 Morton Ave. Officers requested an ambulance, and emergency medical services determined a woman was intoxicated but cleared her and let her sleep it off. 

A caller reported a man driving around in a pickup truck harassing an elderly female at 9:54 p.m. Monday at Walmart, 770 Broadway. Officers determined the vehicle left prior to arrival. 

A caller reported that he rented a room at the Red Roof Inn for two nights and only stayed for one but was barred from accessing his room to collect his belongings by staff at 12:33 a.m. Tuesday at 920 Broadway. 

Suspicious

A caller reported someone was trying to get into her room but she couldn’t see anyone when she looked outside at 2:31 a.m. Monday at the Avalon Motel, 1529 Broadway. The caller said she believed the person was hiding in the bushes. A dispatched officer spoke with the woman and informed her no one was outside and advised her to lock her door. 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle with a door left open for “some time” at 6:29 a.m. Monday at Town Hall Annex, 25 Main St. Dispatched officers reported the occupant of the vehicle had pulled over to rest and has been sent on his way.

A caller reported hearing a loud bang in their house and were unsure if another person was in the home at 2:27 a.m. Tuesday at 30 Guild Road. Dispatched officers conducted a search of the interior and exterior of the home and nothing was found. 

Thefts

A report of a past shoplifting at 3:15 p.m. Monday at Best Buy, Square One Mall, 1201 Broadway. 

A caller reported her vehicle was broken into overnight at 6:26 a.m. Tuesday at 8 Cedar St. A dispatched officer reported a man broke into the vehicle around 3 a.m. 

Threats

A walk-in report of threatening text messages at 3:55 p.m. Monday at 6 Becket St. The reporting party called police at 4:56 p.m. Monday to report receiving messages stating a group of people were outside his home and wanted his money. Officers determined the messages were spam. 

Vandalism

A caller reported her window was smashed with a golf club at 9:41 a.m. Monday at 5 Linwood St. 

SWAMPSCOTT
Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 9:38 a.m. Monday at 1005 Paradise Road.

Animal

A report of a lost pet at 10:15 a.m. Monday at 531 Humphrey St. Caller stated she found a dog with a collar on the side of the road. The dog’s owner was called and reunited with the dog.

Lost Property

A report of a lost phone at 7:53 p.m. Monday at 199 Ocean Ave.
