LYNN — The city has issued a heat advisory from Wednesday through Friday.
The city said in a release that there will be several cooling centers that will be opened for community members to escape the high expected temperatures.
City Hall will operate cooling centers from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
Spaces in the building at 3 City Hall Sq. include the auditorium, health resource room, and room 302.
The Senior Center at 37 Friend St. will also be open on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The city will also make splash pads available at Kiley Park, Neptune Boulevard Park, Barry Park and Flax Pond Park.
