Arrests

Sender Pojoy-Chiguichon, 31, was arrested for disorderly conduct, ordinance violation of possessing a knife with a blade, and an ordinance violation of opening container with alcohol at 11:02 a.m. Thursday. 

Genaro Viola, 33, of Rantoul Avenue was arrested for larceny of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and disguise to obstruct justice at 4:19 p.m. Wednesday.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 6:04 p.m. Wednesday on Ocean Avenue. Citation given.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 6:06 p.m. Wednesday on the corner of Glendale Road and Humphrey Street. Vehicle Towed.

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 8:43 p.m. Wednesday on Atlantic Avenue. Citation given.

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on Stramski Way. Report taken.

SAUGUS

Accident

A caller reported damage to her vehicle and told police she believed the vehicle parked next to it was the culprit at 10:29 a.m. Wednesday at Heritage Heights, 19 Talbot St. 

Animal

The Animal Control officer reported responding to a nuisance call at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at 12 Rhodes St. 

Disturbances

An employee at Chestnut Woods called police to report two residents who had gotten into an altercation at 5:03 p.m. Wednesday at 73 Chesnut St. 

An “irate and out of control” caller requested police for a dispute over a fence at 8 Avon St. at 7 p.m. Wednesday at 6 Linwood St. Dispatched officers reported an ongoing heated dispute between neighbors. 

A report of a person causing a disturbance at 1:59 p.m. Thursday at Eliot Community Health Services, 1715 Broadway. Dispatched officers reported the person had left the scene and peace was restored. 

Hazard

A caller reported her vehicle was leaking gas at 12:06 p.m. Thursday at 114 Main St. 

Suspicious

A report of a moped heading towards Saugus Center at a high rate of speed with no helmet on at 3:42 p.m. Wednesday. 

Thefts

A caller from loss prevention at Marshalls reported a woman in custody that was caught with over $100 in merchandise at 4:38 p.m. Wednesday at 655 Broadway. 

Loss prevention reported having a man in custody for shoplifting at 7:37 p.m. Wednesday at Macy’s Department Store, 1201 Broadway. 

Unlawful

A report of a citation issued for unlawful operation of a motor vehicle at 3:22 p.m. Wednesday at Vine Street and Adams Avenue. 

SWAMPSCOTT

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 2:47 p.m. Tuesday at 450 Paradise Road.; at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday at 244 Humphrey St.

Disturbances

A report of a disturbance at 2:49 p.m. Tuesday at 440 Paradise Road. Caller reports his bicycle had been stolen the night before and his bicycle, with the suspect, was spotted.

A report of a disturbance at 11:02 a.m. Wednesday at 19 Railroad Ave. The reporting party wanted her husband and brother removed from her home alleging verbal abuse.

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 10:34 a.m. Tuesday at Humphrey Street.

Suspicious

A report of suspicious activity at 5:43 a.m. Tuesday at 1006 Paradise Road. A caller reported someone unknown knocked on her door and stated he had something for her.

A report of suspicious activity at 10:07 a.m. Wednesday at 45 Stetson Ave. Caller reported a man in a yellow shirt ringing her doorbell. 

A report of suspicious activity at 1:45 a.m. Thursday at 205 Burrill St. Caller reported a suspicious party in a hooded sweatshirt walking behind the liquor store. 

Theft

A report of motor vehicle theft at 3:58 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Alley Street and Commercial Street.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 7:53 p.m. Tuesday at 2 Paradise Road. Caller reports she arrived to her shop and saw her window smashed.
