MARBLEHEAD — The Marblehead Athletic Department is pleased to announce the hiring of a new head coach of the field hockey program. Mia Maccario has been appointed the new face of the team.
Maccario will take over the program that former Head Coach Linda Rice-Collins led for many years. She has been involved with the program since 2015, mostly working with Marblehead’s middle school team.
Maccario was also an assistant coach for the girls ice hockey team during the 2018-19 season. She brings high energy and a deep passion for the sport.
