Congressman Seth Moulton (Olivia Falcigno)

Coming this week: 6th District Constituents Fair

Benjamin Pierce

August 14, 2023 by Benjamin Pierce

LYNN — The office of Congressman Seth Moulton will hold the Constituent Services Fair at North Shore Community College’s gymnasium on Friday, Aug. 18. The two-hour event will begin at 2 p.m., when 6th District locals are invited to meet and speak in person with representatives from more than 25 federal and state government agencies, organizations, and nonprofit groups.

Agencies and organizations in attendance will include the Lynn Housing Authority and Neighborhood Development, Mayor Jared Nicholson’s office, state Sen. Brendan Crighton’s office, and the Small Business Administration. This event will give residents the opportunity to “cut through the red tape” and speak directly with representatives about the services and benefits their agencies, organizations, and nonprofits have to offer.

In addition, Moulton’s casework staff will be present. The congressman was quoted on his website talking about how the fair presents a unique opportunity.

“My Constituent Services Fair is an excellent opportunity for residents to learn more about the programs available to them and engage with providers without the hassle of traveling far or booking an appointment,” Moulton said. “I encourage everyone to join my team in Lynn on Aug. 18.”

Parking will be available on the Washington Street side of NSCC’s campus. The 6th Congressional District of Massachusetts comprises 31 municipalities in Essex County and eight municipalities in Middlesex County.
