The Marblehead Athletic Department has made its choice, bringing on new Head Coach Lisa Wales to helm the varsity girls soccer program.
Wales succeeds former Coach John Dormer, who has led since 2019, and has a proven track record that brings experience and success.
Prior to Marblehead High, she has been involved with Marblehead Youth Soccer since 2008. Wales played both soccer and lacrosse at Connecticut College, where she captained both teams her senior year. She was also a part of the All-New England Regional Soccer Team during her time in college.
A statement from the Marblehead Athletic Department:
“We are excited to have her lead the Marblehead program moving forward. She brings passion,
energy, and a strong strength and conditioning background to the program, and we have no doubt it will be a smooth transition.”
