SWAMPSCOTT

Animal

A report at 9:32 a.m. Sunday of a raccoon stuck in a window well at Hadley School at 24 Redington St. An officer placed a branch in the well for the animal, a skunk, to climb and escape. Animal control told the officer to let the skunk be and that it would likely leave on its own.

Con

A report at 10:11 a.m. Saturday of an attempted identity fraud at 12 Tupelo Road.

Disturbances

A report at 2 a.m. Saturday of a disturbance at Ellis Road and Middlesex Avenue. The caller reported a group of kids at a playground that officers sent on their way; at 6:47 p.m. Saturday of a party on a bicycle hitting the windows of a vehicle at Mission On The Bay at 141 Humphrey St. Officers spoke to all parties involved; at 11:53 p.m. Saturday of a neighbor banging against a wall at 19 Cherry St.; at 4:17 p.m. Sunday of a motorist getting into an argument with another motorist over a parking spot at Whole Foods Market at 331 Paradise Road.

Motor Vehicle Accidents

A report at 10:29 a.m. Saturday of a minor accident at Starbucks at 450 Paradise Rd. No injuries were reported; at 6:14 p.m. Saturday of a party striking a parked car at 444 Humphrey St.

Shoplifting

A report at 3:10 p.m. Sunday of shoplifting at The GAP at 450 Paradise Road. The suspect was wearing jeans, a black shirt, sneakers and sunglasses.
