A caller at 12:04 a.m. Monday reported loud music in the area of Cliftondale Condominiums, 36 Essex St. Dispatched officers spoke to the homeowner, who agreed to turn down the music.
Suspicious
A caller reported a husky man in his 40s with brown hair seen going through people’s backyards at 3:50 p.m. Monday at 846 Broadway. The man was last seen in the backyard of lot 12 wearing a red shirt and red and black shorts. Dispatched officers determined the report was unfounded; the caller was concerned the man wasn’t wearing a rain jacket.
A caller reported a suspicious package under her car tire at 8:28 p.m. Monday at Fuddruckers, 900 Broadway. Dispatched officers identified the object as a vape pen and disposed of it.
Thefts
A resident walked into the police station at 9:58 a.m. Monday to report identity fraud at 2 Curtis St.
A wedding photographer walked into the police station at 6:05 p.m. Monday to report a backpack with two photography lights was stolen from the Continental Restaurant, 266 Broadway, while he was shooting a wedding there. He told police the total value of the items is roughly $1400. There is no suspect but venue staff are checking security footage. The photographer was told to contact police when staff completes the review of footage.
A resident walked into the police station at 8:34 a.m. Tuesday to report being the victim of identity fraud at 19 Springdale Ave.

A report of a lost dog at 8:25 p.m. Monday at Minerva Street. The caller reported that he/she was trying to corral a husky dog that appeared lost. After responding officers contacted the animal control officer, the husky’s owner arrived on scene and collected the dog.
