Noel Gomez Acevedo, of Chatham Street, was arrested at 11:49 a.m. Thursday on warrant charges for assault and battery with serious bodily injury, unarmed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Aris Klefti, of Witt Street, was arrested at 10:50 Wednesday for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, number plate violation and not having an inspection sticker.
Catherine Lima, of Clinton Street, was arrested at 6:55 a.m. Thursday on warrant charges for shoplifting by concealing.
Amalia Mercedes, of Adams Street, Taunton, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. Thursday for trespassing and threatening to commit a crime.

Hazard
The principal at the Carroll School reported finding a needle in the field by the school at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday at 60 Northend St. The needle was located and disposed of.

A caller reported a bicyclist hit by a truck at 12:24 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton and Atherton Streets. The bicyclist was up and walking, and no emergency medical services responded to the scene.

Animal
A caller reported she was bitten by a dog at 11 a.m. on June 24, 2023 at 28 Naples Ave. while she was performing cleaning services.
Complaints
A caller reported the apartment above him was playing loud music at 12:48 a.m. Wednesday at 36 Newhall Ave. This is an ongoing issue. Dispatched officers spoke to all parties and the music was turned down.
A caller reported a possible water main break at 2:04 a.m. Wednesday on Venice Avenue. A further check of the area found water flowing from Venice Avenue to Seagirt Avenue, and the backyard at 22 Harlow St. completely flooded.
Disturbances
A caller reported a male party causing a disturbance with employees and other customers at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday at Speedway, 1252 Broadway. Dispatched officers reported the incident was a misunderstanding due to a gas pump malfunction and the peace was restored.
A caller reported a woman punched her in the face at 11:20 a.m. Thursday at Walmart, 770 Broadway, before leaving the store. The caller just wanted the incident on record. The woman called police at 1:40 p.m. Thursday to report being in a verbal argument that escalated with each person throwing one punch.
A caller reported an older man in military fatigues causing a disturbance at 11:34 a.m. Thursday at Starbucks, 366 Broadway. Dispatched officers reported the man was gone on arrival.
Hazard
A caller reported a large pothole and several disabled vehicles at 1:04 p.m. Wednesday on Spring Street.
Suspicious
A caller reported someone riding a motor scooter in and out of several driveways who didn’t appear to be from the neighborhood at 1:23 a.m. Wednesday on Forest Street. Dispatched officers checked the area but were unable to locate the rider.
A truck driver for Gordon Food Services reported a fellow driver for Sysco took his two-wheeler while he was inside the Veterans Memorial Elementary School at 10:57 a.m. Wednesday at 25 Hurd Ave. A dispatched officer reported that after reviewing video, the Sysco driver did not take the dolly. The driver thinks he may have left it at another site.
A caller reported a male party causing a disturbance and throwing things into the street at 10:38 p.m. Wednesday at Clifton Arms, 141 Essex St. The man was described as wearing a black shirt and jeans, and had a beard. Police received a separate 911 call from a woman living at 5 Myrtle St. who reported a male party was banging on her door and she was unsure of the damage but didn’t want to speak to police. Officers requested an ambulance for evaluation, and one person was taken to Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. A resident at 169 Essex St. called at 9:10 a.m. Thursday to report damage to his fence.
