Gas Leak
An officer responded to 51 Lowell St. at 11:32 a.m. Monday to assist with a gas leak. Lowell Street was brought down to one lane between 51 and the park, and was closed on the west bound side from Sawyer Road to Peabody Square.
Suspicious
A caller reported a man threw or dumped a scooter/moped on their property and ran towards Crowninshield Street at 7:09 a.m. Monday at 5 Berry St. The man was described as 6 feet tall wearing a red hoodie and a red backpack. A person matching the description was found near 50 Warren St. The scooter was towed.
Theft
A walk-in report of fraud at 7:24 p.m. Monday at 26 Highland Park.

Accidents
A report of a motor vehicle collision with injuries at 2:46 p.m. Monday at 193 Essex St. One person was taken to Melrose/Wakefield Hospital.

A report of a motor vehicle collision at 1:15 p.m. Monday at Lincoln and Lawndale Avenues; at 7:41 p.m. Monday at the Route 1 Northbound Lynnfield on-ramp, one operator was issued a citation.
Disturbance
All fire companies were dispatched to Wheelabrator Saugus, 100 Salem Turnpike at 8:21 p.m. Monday after police received over 400 calls for a loud noise coming from the area. Both boilers at the facility were taken offline and steam was released. The noise subsided after about 20 minutes.
Suspicious
A caller reported seeing two young males looking into his neighbor’s car at 3:27 a.m. Monday at 44 Central St. Dispatched officers conducted an area search, which was negative.
A resident walked into the police station to report suspicious activity on her Cash App account at 2:47 p.m. Monday at 21 Pleasant St. There was a phone number attached to the account that was not hers.
A resident walked into the police station at 3:23 p.m. Monday to make a report at the request of Amazon Customer Services. She reported that her husband ordered a $1,500 bouncy house that was never delivered. She said they were told to place the order a second time and that the money would be refunded. The second order arrived but she was still charged for the item that was never delivered.
A caller reported someone attempted to break into her home at 11:08 p.m. Monday at 273 Walnut St. An officer was unable to locate any signs of a break-in, and the caller said she was put off by the reactions of her dog and suspected someone had tried to get in.
Thefts
A caller reported her vehicle was stolen at 10:53 a.m. Monday at 58 Lincoln Ave. When an officer arrived to help the caller, she shut the door in his face and said she had no interest in working with police.

A noise complaint at 8:23 p.m. Sunday at 286 Humphrey St. A resident on Blaney Street reported that the music at Dockside Pub was too loud and disruptive. Music that was mistakenly turned on outside was shut off.
Suspicious Activity
A report of suspicious activity at 7:52 p.m. Sunday at Kensington Lane. Caller reported people going in and out of driveways.
Theft
A report of shoplifting at 12:11 p.m. Sunday at 1005 Paradise Road. A man wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a baseball cap carrying a laundry bag walked out with merchandise. A witness reported he shoved an employee.
