SALEM — The Enterprise Center at Salem State University is hosting the 15th Million Dollar Women Symposium at the Hawthorne Hotel from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday. The symposium will feature four panelists sharing their experiences of starting companies that have grown into businesses with millions of dollars in revenue.

According to the center, the symposium is designed to motivate and empower working women to succeed in their fields. It provides an opportunity for women entrepreneurs and professionals to hear from successful women business owners.

Rhonda Kallman, founder and CEO of Boston Harbor Distillery, will be the event’s keynote speaker. According to the center, Kallman has nearly four decades of experience in the alcoholic beverages industry and is considered one of the industry’s thought leaders at the national level.

The panelists include invisaWear CEO and co-founder Rajia Abdelaziz, Artful Life Counseling Center and Studio co-founders Natalie Blue and Madelene Pario, and Synergy Contracting Inc. President and CEO Jeysi Zuniga.

Abdelaziz’s company creates smart jewelry and accessories with safety technology hidden inside. Her mission is to prevent sexual assault, as currently one in five women are sexually assaulted at some point in their lifetimes.

Blue and Pario’s center and studio in Salem is a unique group practice that provides an accessible and affordable alternative to traditional mental-health counseling through expressive-arts therapy and other holistic interactive methods.

Zuniga’s Lawrence-based company provides environmental remediation, demolition, painting, and construction services. She has worked in a variety of fields including real estate and biotechnology.

According to the Enterprise Center, the symposium aims “to empower women at all stages of business to see that no matter where they came from and no matter how differently they may think, there is a role model for them.”

Those interested in attending the symposium can register on the Enterprise Center’s website for $70.
