The Spartans keep on winning, this time beating Arlington Catholic 7-0 to improve to 7-0-2 on the season.
Cian LeVasseur and the rest of the strong Spartans defense earned another clean sheet, which gives St. Mary’s six shutouts on the season.
A bunch of players got on the scoresheet for St. Mary’s, including Jose Costa, who scored his first career goal. Eighth-grader Mauricio Marin chipped in with a brace.
St. Mary’s has two strong conference matchups next week against Bishop Stang and Bishop Feehan.

The Magicians kept a clean sheet and walked away with a 2-0 win against Waltham.
James Achterhof and Colin White got on the scoresheet for Marblehead.
Rory Zampese was between the sticks and kept everything out to earn another shutout win.

Malden Catholic 0
The Big Blue protected their home turf with a convincing win over Malden Catholic. What a performance Swampscott got from forward Greta Siefken. Siefken scored all four goals (three unassisted) for the Big Blue.
Jane Raymond recorded the lone assist as the Big Blue clicked in all phases of the game.
Both Eve Byrne and Lauren Labrador shared minutes between the sticks, registering a shutout win between the two.
Lincoln-Sudbury 2

It was a tough day for the Tanners losing at home.
Despite the loss, goalkeeper Eva Joyce played well while Madi Barrett, Ally Bettencourt, and Logan Lomasney worked hard to try and keep Lincoln-Sudbury to few chances.
Brooke Lomasney and Connie Patturelli combined well in the attacking third creating chances. Unfortunately for the Tanners, the chances couldn’t find the back of the net.

Four goals with four different scorers helped the Crusaders get past the Rams.
Maeve O’Donnell scored and provided two assists. Caillie Reed, Joni Caron, and Irene Caron all scored.
Marblehead 0

Two evenly matched teams squared off on Monday and neither could get the better of each other, resulting in a draw.
Weston had chances to get a goal in the second half, but Marblehead’s own Kate Burns came up big with two crucial saves to preserve the tie.

The Pioneers not only controlled the game but were clinical when they got an opportunity in front of goal.

The Tigers (4-2) swept the Navigators in Monday’s matchup. Tech won the first two sets comfortably (25-13, 25-19) and closed the match with a 25-21 final set win.
Maria Groscos had 11 aces, four digs, and one kill while Lia Morales had seven aces, four digs, and three assists.
Zahara Belizaire was a playmaker on the court, finishing the game with 11 assists.

It’s one thing to win, it’s another thing to sweep an opponent away from home. That’s what the Magicians (5-4) did on Monday in Beverly.
Marblehead won all three sets convincingly (25-11, 25-16, 25-9).
Eva Burke and Reese Friendman combined for 12 assists, while Remington Tilkens had six aces.
Lila Moniz had seven kills and Maddie Cole recorded three kills.

The Bulldogs showed out against the Mustangs on Monday. English won a closely contested contest (25-21, 25-17, 25-21) against Medford.
English got revenge from an earlier defeat to Medford last month.
The Bulldogs will take the court again on Wednesday, when they host Revere.

Behind senior Fayth Bascon’s eight kills, the Big Blue went into enemy territory and came out with the win.
Swampscott controlled the pace of the match, winning each set by at least seven points (25-17, 25-18, 25-15).
St. Mary’s 3

The Spartans came through with a four-set win over Cathedral. The match was tied (1-1) after the Spartans dropped the second set 24-26. However, the Spartans didn’t drop their heads and they continued to fight for each point, winning the next two sets 25-9 and 25-12.
Summer Marston had 10 service points and two kills, while Anastaisa Mason had nine service points (6 aces) and five kills.
Sky Watson chipped in with six kills and 19 service points, 13 of which were aces.

After losing its first set and game last week, the Rams are back to winning ways, sweeping Revere 3-0 (25-12, 25-17, 25-15).
The sophomore duo of Brooke Braswell and Emma Chevalier stood out according to coach Chris LeBlanc.
Braswell finished the game with three blocks, three kills, and two aces, while Chevalier registered 21 assists, four aces, and one kill.
Mia Pento contributed with three aces.
