Six games, six wins for Lynnfield’s football team, which went on the road for another victory on Friday.
In the 24-14 final against Amesbury, Lynnfield led 10-0 at the half courtesy of a Joey Cuccienello touchdown. He added another in the second half (17-0), and quarterback Tyler Adamo sealed the deal with another at the 9:02 mark.

The Eagles remained perfect at 6-0 this fall, defeating Malden Catholic with ease. Cam LaGrassa had three touchdowns in the first half, one that ended 37-0 in favor of Prep.
Bishop Fenwick 34

A passing touchdown (Brayden Clifford to Anthony Nichols) got things started for Fenwick, and it was all in favor of the Crusaders from there in a 34-6 triumph.
Nichols had three touchdowns by halftime, Aidan Silva (2 field goals) made Fenwick’s first field goal of the season, and Clifford rushed for another touchdown.
BOYS SOCCER
Bishop Feehan 1
St. Mary’s 0
St. Mary’s boys soccer team (8-1-2) lost for the first time this season, 2-1, against the Shamrocks of Bishop Feehan at Manning Field.
“Despite another strong performance by our defense, our offense just couldn’t find the back of the net,” St. Mary’s coach Shane McCarran said. “Feehan really packed it in on the defensive side and scored a solid goal on the counter-attack to end the first half. We couldn’t find our groove offensively, and paid for it in the end.”
McCarran said the team looks forward to its rematch at Feehan on Thursday.
GIRLS SOCCER
Lynn Tech 2
Burke 2
Lynn Tech’s girls soccer team (6-5-3) tied Burke, 2-2, on the road. Angela Reyes (2 goals) stole the show, but Burke tucked one with less than a minute remaining to salvage a tie.
Shery Hernandez and Cindy DeLeon, both seniors, split the game in Tech’s net “with strong efforts” according to coach JD Perry.
CROSS COUNTRY
In the inter-city cross country matchup between Lynn Classical and Lynn English, the Bulldogs were victorious in both the boys and girls competitions.
Siblings Eamonn and Madisen McHale each finished first in their respective races.

In sweeping set scores of 25-12, 25-15, and 25-19, sisters Abby Bettencourt (19 service points, 20 assists, 5 aces, 6 kills) and Lizzy (21 kills, 9 digs) led the way.
Kayla Landry, Ava Ruffing, Sydney Lynch, Addison Merrill, and Emma Lynch “all made huge contributions to the win,” according to coach Lisa Keene.
Peabody will celebrate its two seniors Monday night against Swampscott.
