PEABODY — Gary Leavitt continues to load up with celebrities for his radio show, “Leavitt and Friends,” on 95.9 WATD and this Tuesday night’s show is no exception.
Leavitt has Academy Award-winning actress Marisa Tomei and former Channel 5 sportscaster Mike Lynch, who’ll join Gary during the 7 o’clock hour for a good interesting and entertaining conversation.
“I’ve been very fortunate to have secured some of Hollywood’s best actors and actresses along with [an] incredible list of professional athletes, musicians and comedians, said Leavitt, a former Daily Item sportswriter. “Part of the success is the approach on highlighting/spotlighting the individual guests, as opposed to trying to one up them with a punchline or digging on any controversial things they might’ve had happen in their past. It’s just a matter of having good, clean fun.”
Leavitt is also in the midst of beginning production on his children’s cartoon, Charlie Horse.
