LTE: Support Pete Meaney for Ward 1 city councilor in Lynn

To the editor

October 30, 2023 by To the editor

To the editor:

I am writing to express my strong support for Dr. Pete Meaney, candidate for Ward 1 city councilor. Pete embodies the type of work ethic and dedication that we truly need in a city councilor. He genuinely believes in Lynn, and his actions consistently demonstrate an increased investment in our community. From the recent expansion of his dental practice to the Saturday morning cleanups in Wyoma Square and his involvement with numerous philanthropic organizations, Pete has repeatedly proven himself to be a pillar of the Ward 1 community.

Pete has been deeply committed to this campaign for over a year now. He started his journey with community conversations, working in collaboration with Ward 1 constituents to identify their needs. Through thousands of conversations as he knocked on doors night after night, Pete has forged relationships with the people whose voices he intends to amplify as our city councilor. Pete has put in the work, and now he is ready to turn those ideas into action.

Pete Meaney is the advocate we need at City Hall; his commitment, work ethic, and heart make him the right person for the job. I hope you will join me in electing Pete Meaney for Ward 1 councilor on Nov. 7.

Sincerely,

Phil and Bernice Brooks
