LTE: Roger Garcia would be a breath of fresh air for Lynn City Council

To the editor

November 2, 2023 by To the editor

To the editor:

I want to express my support for Roger (Rogelio) Garcia for councilor-at-large in the City of Lynn in the strongest of terms.

Roger is the owner of April’s on Buffum Street and I have been a regular customer of his for many years. In that time, I have seen a man whose energy is always focused on family; a man who deeply cares about his customers and his employees; a man who sees the need to help whenever and wherever he can. Roger is a breath of fresh air!

As a parent, homeowner and businessman, Roger understands the issues facing the City of Lynn. He knows that deep down, the leaders of our great city need to be focused on making our neighborhoods safer. Safety affects everyone whether you’re a resident, taxpayer, voter, customer, or employee. Roger has shown his willingness to get involved in the conversations about stopping violence and his advocacy for additional funding for school resource officers and expanded police presence in the downtown.

During Roger’s campaign, he has continually expressed his desire to give back to the city that has helped him to be successful in raising a family and running a business. Let’s take Roger up on his offer. Please join me in casting one of your four votes for Roger (Rogelio) Garcia, councilor-at-large, on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023.

Sincerely,

Paul Crowley

Lynn
