LTE: Coppola is the best choice for Ward 4

To the editor

November 5, 2023 by To the editor

To the editor:

After doing my due diligence, the only conclusion that anyone should have is to vote for Donna Coppola for Ward 4 councilor.

She has unselfishly helped thousands of people in our community. Many have told their stories including, but not limited to, how they would have never received their GED without her encouragement and assistance.

She has been a foster mother to 19 children, has adopted three, and given birth to one child.

As a case manager at Joi Child Care Center, she retired when it closed on June 30 and has helped families throughout the city, especially in the Highlands.

For years she has dedicated her life to our community and residents. She’s done this quietly as she has never felt the need for publicity. She has always done this for the right reasons, which is putting other people first and making sure people of all walks of life are treated with the dignity that they deserve.

In addition, she is on the board of My Brothers Table and regularly volunteers feeding people and families in need. These are just some examples of her tireless dedication to our community.

She has proven that she does not use strictly election times to dictate her commitment to our city.

She firmly believes that all of Ward 4 should be treated and represented equally. Her experience and knowledge makes her ready to serve the community on day one.

Donna has integrity, morals, and has always been honest and available to everyone. She would be the best person for the job as our ward councilor.

Please on Nov. 7 vote for Donna Coppola. Your vote is your voice and your vote matters.

Sincerely,

Shirley McCloud Compaore

Retired Lynn Police officer after 31 years of service.
