After a five-point loss to Shawsheen Tech on Friday, the Tigers got back to winning ways with a 74-68 win over Boston English.
Giovanni Jean had himself a night scoring 29 points while recording eight assists. Big man Ederick Gonzalez put in a strong performance scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
The win moves Lynn Tech to 2-1 on the season.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Lynnfield at Hamilton-Wenham was postponed and will be played on Tuesday.
Saugus at Triton was postponed.

Hamilton-Wenham at Lynnfield was postponed and will be played on Tuesday.

The Sachems (1-1) lost a close match against NEC rival Winthrop on Monday evening.
Saugus was led by Peyton DiBiasio (18 points) who scored half of the Sachems’ points. Despite the loss, the Sachems got “Great effort” from seniors Jessica Bremberg and Ashleigh Moore.
Saugus will look to put the loss behind them on Friday when they host Ipswich with the game scheduled for 4 p.m.
