After a learning experience in the Walter J. Boverini girls basketball tournament – in which Lynn English lost in the first round – the Lady Bulldogs (3-5) responded with a double-digit win over rival Lynn Classical on the road.
In the 56-45 final, the Maroon and White showed out. Jaeleigh Perry (20 points), Amara Flores (13), Dayana Hios (11), and Jayleen Novas (9) all came to play, with Flores and Novas each connecting on three from downtown.
Classical was led by freshman Divine Egbuta with 18 points and junior Keisha Perez with 13, but the Lady Rams dipped to 3-2 on the still-young season.
