An update from the the Peabody Police Department as of 5:56 p.m. says that Iris Matul has been located.
The Peabody Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a missing 12-year-old girl named Iris Matul. She was last seen on Sunday, Feb. 25 at the Holiday Inn in Peabody carrying a backpack with a Vans logo with some personal items. Matul does not have a phone or any means of communication.
She is described as a 4’05” tall, white female, with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a grey sweater, black shirt, black pants, and black and white Adidas sneakers. She attends Pickering Middle School in Lynn and might be in the Lynn and Saugus area.
