Msgr. Paul V. Garrity, a former pastor of St. Mary’s Parish and School, appeared on this week’s episode of “The American Dream,” a show hosted by Attorney James J. Carrigan, to discuss his career at St. Mary’s and the fight against antisemitism.
The show, which airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., and Saturdays at 7 a.m. on Comcast Channel 3 and Verizon Channel 38, is “designed to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at how public and private policy is developed,” according to Carrigan.
Carrigan brought up an article Garrity, a senior priest of the Archdiocese of Boston, wrote for The Daily Item that discusses the history of antisemitism and the severity of the issue today.
“Antisemitism is on the rise because of what’s taking place in the war against Hamas,” Garrity said. “It’s a situation that cries out for a just solution.”
Episodes of “The American Dream” can be found on the Lynn Community Television website after they air.
