To the editor:
My feelings are not in any way antisemitic, however the war — the bombing of Gaza, the killing of the men trying to bring food — all contribute to the genocide of the Palestinian people and all people, Israelis and Palestinians, want to live in peace. I pray daily for the peace of Jerusalem, that all wars will cease. In Ukraine and Russia, an unprovoked war. In Israel, Hamas attacking Israel. It’s the people on both sides that suffer. We need to negotiate for peace — the release of the hostages, the children of Ukraine need to go home to their families. I pray for the release of Paul Whelan and the two journalists held since 2018 — seem to be forgotten. War is very costly, not only financially but with lives at stake. Let’s demand peace, not hate for anyone.
