What a season it has been for Lynn Tech volleyball. In its second season, the Tigers are now 7-5 after a comprehensive win over Salem on Wednesday. The Tigers took out the Witches in straight sets (25-14, 25-9, 25-21).
Felipe De Oliveira was everywhere on the floor registering 23 digs. Senior Ederick Gonzalez had seven kills to go along with seven digs.
Elmer Duran had a day to remember providing 11 assists and compiling seven digs. Teammate Didlaire Jacques Jr. did a little of everything. Jacques Jr. had five blocks, three kills, two digs, and an ace to propel the Tigers.

The crosstown rivalry was at it again, this time with the Rams getting the sweep, and bragging rights, over Lynn English (25-20, 25-17, 25-16). The win moves the Rams to 11-4 overall and 6-4 in the Greater Boston League.
Leading the way for the Rams was Kenzel Lantano who recorded a match-high 33 assists to go along with three digs, two kills, and one ace. Lantano has surpassed 400 assists for the season.
Junior outside hitter, Viet Tran, had a strong performance with 13 kills, five digs, and one ace.
“English played a gritty game and our kids needed to play well to come out with the win. We got off to a slow start in the first set and allowed English to hang around for the entirety of the set. The second and third were better,” Rams head coach Chris LeBlanc said. “We got contributions from our starters and our bench.”
