This article was published 1 year(s) and 7 month(s) agoIn lucky year 13 of the Danish Cup boys lacrosse matchup between Peabody and Bishop Fenwick, the Crusaders captured their first-ever trophy with an 8-6 win. The game was tied, 4-4, at halftime, but Fenwick escaped late courtesy of second-half goals from Anthony Sasso (2), Joey Marshall, and Aidan Bryne. Peabody tied the game in the second half (5-5) when Donnie Cavanaugh found the back of the net, but it wasn’t enough. Talk about close – the first half saw four ties and only one-goal leads.
